The Ollie Hat

Ollie loves to wear hats and has gotten pretty good at putting them on and taking them off. On this particular day, he found the baby hat Aunt Jennifer made for him when he was born, and he insisted on wearing it around the house. Too cute.

One of Ollie's favorite foods is cottage cheese...and "cheese" is another one of his favorite words these days. As he's learning to feed himself, we sometimes have very messy meals! Apparently, cottage cheese is not only tasty but seems to work quite well as hair product.

Bumbo Play. As Ollie is experimenting with new words, we've discovered he narrates most of his activities (which makes sense considering we narrate most of the time with him, as well). In this little clip, he babbles for a while about his "bumbo" chair, tries to pick it up and bring to "Daddy," and asks, "What's this?" when distracted by the paper towel used to wipe his face after breakfast.

Ollie's buddy, Sean, gave him these cool "Boom Whackers," which are tuned percussion tubes. While Ollie still hasn't quite figured them out, he really likes to twirl them around and throw them!
