Indie's First Month

After Indie Leif's arrival, Ollie and I tried to grab one-on-one time whenever we could. Here, Ollie's getting the undivided attention of both Mama and Daddy as the three of us bake cookies together. Ollie loves to talk about how he's a chef, just like Daddy.

Indie does his best to sleep only in his swing. We're a little worried that, eventually, we'll have a grade schooler who refuses to sleep in a bed but insists on draping himself over his infant swing in order to fall asleep.

Indie also loves his little bouncy chair. Ollie's friend, Luna, and her mama gave it to Indie before we left Yale. We miss our playdates with them! I know Indie and Luna's little sister would have been good friends, too.

So comfy in Daddy's arms.

Ollie's new haircut! I miss his little curls, but he looks so handsome.

One of Ollie's favorite pasttimes is playing Legos...or as he calls them, "blegos." Thank you, Micah, for getting him hooked. Here, he's proudly displaying one of his creations. I have to agree, it's pretty cool, especially for a two year old.
